Shipping Weight

How Germany Shipping Weight Is Calculated

Air shipping is charged using the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight.

Actual Weight

The physical weight of the packed parcel measured in kilograms.

If you do not know the package dimensions, you can use the actual weight for an initial online estimate.

Volumetric Weight

Larger but lightweight parcels may be charged by volumetric weight.

Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 6000

The final chargeable weight is whichever is greater: actual weight or volumetric weight.

Some German remote areas, islands and special postal codes may require an additional carrier delivery surcharge. The online shipping calculator does not automatically include these special delivery surcharges.

Standard DDP transit is typically 8–12 days after international departure. Fast DDP for eligible Branded Goods (F) is typically 5–7 days after departure.
On supported DDP routes, customs clearance, tax handling and final door-to-door delivery are included.
Shipping charges use whichever is greater: actual weight or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as Length × Width × Height in centimeters ÷ 6000.
Yes. Certain remote areas, islands and special postal codes may require an additional delivery surcharge. If your address falls within one of the listed remote postal-code ranges, please contact us. Any additional surcharge will be confirmed before shipment.
